My son is really interested in hot places, in Nigeria and Palestine to be more precise. Not because he has been there or because he has a particular interest in hot climates but because he has worshipped with and become friends with two of our students in our community who are from these places. The coolest thing is to watch our friends share with Nate about what worship and life is like for them at home. It is fantastic to watch our son make the connections that the world is bigger, much bigger than our city. I encourage us all to learn about our wider faith world from our neighbours that are right around us.
